Maurizio Marchetti born in 1973, father of two girls
I've been working on the streets and beyond since 1996 as a stilt walker, juggler, clown, and entertainer. I started out as a self-taught performer, then trained as an actor through intensive courses led by Serena Sinigaglia.

I attended clown-comedy-theater courses with Bustric, Peter Weyel, Bepi Monai, Paolo Nani, Jean Menigault, Rita Pelusio, Domenico Lannutti and Andre Casaca.

Since 1996, I have been among the founders of the Compagnia del GranMastro di Viareggio, with which I have performed and acted in the following shows: "Miraculous Nuts," "Which Came First, Man or Chicken," "John Jack and the Boss" (winner of "Per le vie del Borgo" in Castelnuovo Val di Cecina 2010); and the latest, "Ciro Cavallo Show" (winner of the "Bajocco Festival" in Albano Laziale 2014).

With whom I have participated in national and international festivals such as Ferrara Buskers, Mecantia Certaldo, Veroli Festival, Il Paese dei Balocchi, A Cappello, Apriti Borgo, and numerous others.

I have worked abroad in: Peru in 2002 and Mexico in 2004, as well as having participated in the "Dubai Shopping Festival" in Dubai 2004, the "Feast of the Birth of St. Petersburg" Russia 2010, in 4 festivals in the parks of Moscow including "Gorki park" Russia 2011 and "Tula Street Art Festival" Russia 2013.

In 2011, together with other artists and actors, we founded the Fabio Chiesa Amphitheatre Association, which, with the Amphitheatre Project, promotes events and festivals of entertainment, music, theatre, and circus within the same complex, located in Viareggio.

In 2013 and 2014 I was artistic director of the “A Cappello” Festival in Camaiore and Massarosa respectively.

From 2014 to 2019 I worked in national and international festivals with one-man show "Ciro Cavallo Show"
Since 2018 I have started working and collaborating with the Circo Patuf
